Alun oversees Hearst’s market-leading portfolio of men’s lifestyle and health & fitness brands – Esquire, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Runner’s World and NetDoctor. Alun is responsible for delivering revenue and growth for these brands across all channels including print, digital, social, events and licensing.
Alun joined Hearst-Rodale in 2005, initially as Publisher of Men’s Health and then as Group Publishing Director of Men’s Health, Runner’s World and Women’s Health.
Under Alun’s tenure Men’s Health has become the best-selling male lifestyle title in the UK, Runner’s World the biggest-selling sports magazine, and more recently Women’s Health the most successful monthly launch of the last decade. During his time at Hearst-Rodale, Alun has twice been the recipient of the PPA Publisher of the Year award.
Alun’s career in publishing includes roles at Time Inc., Highbury House and magazine publishing start-up Cabal Communications Ltd.
